HoneyWood BBQ Overnight: Spend four hours on horseback with us and then be our guests at the HoneyWood BBQ. After we have eaten and danced the night away, we will get you back to the ranch where your overnight adventure continues around the campfire. The next morning you will have a hefty serving of Cowboy Coffee and a hearty breakfast before you depart!

The cattle will remain at this grazing ground for only a few weeks when we will return them to the Ranch with our Drive 'em Home described next...
Drive 'em Home: Come with us and pick up the herd from the South Ranch. We travel north to the Home Ranch with our herd over some pretty spectacular country sideroads! The cattle will remain at the Ranch until they need to move to other (greener pastures!).
Home Ranch Drives: Pasture Management is what its all about! Help us move a herd from one part of the Ranch to the other - 'cause you know the grass is always greener...! This is a great way to learn about the subtleties of herd and pasture management. Clinics with Tim FortuneWe are so pleased to have connected with Tim Fortune of the Extra Mile Ranch and are really happy to be able to provide you with a forum to join two, 2-day clinics led by this Natural Horseman. As these clinics are run over two days, we have the facilities for primitive camping (no spa treatment!) and stabling if required for a small fee. Learn to identify native trees of the region and their pattern of succession....
The Edible Forest Clinic: Embark on a fabulous horseback ride, through luscious fields and forests of green. Learn to identify and sustainably harvest wild edible and medicinal plants of the Headwaters Region of Ontario. You will be surprised at the abundance of nutritious foods that nature has to offer, many of which can be found in your own backyard! We will identify and sample various tree parts, heraceous plants as well as berries and nuts. The simple medicinal properties of plants will also be discussed ....
Wilderness "Living" Skills : Enjoy a scenic ride on horseback through the Mulmur Hills and lunch and then a workshop focusing on survival skills. The workshop will be a comprehensive introduction to the four basics of wilderness survival - or rather - wilderness living: Shelter, Fire, Water and Food. You will learn to find materials, construct shelters, locate and sterilize water, the art of fire-making (including one-match fire as well as an introduction to friction fire), as well as how to find food in the wild!.....
Landscape Drawing: Enjoy a liesurely ride on horseback to a beautiful look-out where we will stop for lunch and a drawing workshop. Learn the basics of landscape drawing, including copmosition, liaght and shadow, contour observation, media handling techniques and foreground detail.
